Magnetic ore processing complex for separating a non-magnetic product from a coarse lump material that includes low-grade rock with minimal magnetite iron content.
- Advanced technology of coarse lump magnetic ore dismantling
Since 2010, ERGA has been producing magnetic ore separation lines with a capacity of up to 1,500 tons per hour. Separation of material into magnetic and non-magnetic fractions is carried out by means of a powerful drum magnetic separator with induction of 400 mT on the working surface. It provides extraction of ore pieces of up to 450 mm in size from the separation material with minimal losses of magnetite with tailings.
Magnetic ore dismantling line is effectively used for the purpose of:

- Separation of the mined ore mass into conditioned ore and rock, which is especially relevant for the contact zones of ore and non-metallic bodies in open pits and mines.

- Extraction of quality ore from materials with low iron content, as well as from diluted ores and rock dumps.

- Separation of the ore mass into magnetite and hematite, which simplifies further processing and technological processes in open pits or mines, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
- Installation on the side of the opencast area
Equipment placement directly in the open pit reduces ore transportation costs and minimizes ore handling losses. This solution reduces logistics costs and improves overall mining efficiency.
- Integrated technical solution for cyclic-flow technology
Cyclic-flow technology allows to reduce the cost of transportation of rock mass, as well as to reduce exhaust emissions from heavy-duty machinery. The magnetic separation complex is integrated into the production processes of the cyclic-flow technology, providing uninterrupted ore separation of raw materials with the possibility of directing the material to ore and stripping lines.
- Increasing concentrate yield from the enrichment plant
Leading technologies of magnetic ore dressing enables the involvement of the near-contact zones in processing and obtaining a conditioned iron content in the magnetic product. In its turn, this helps to comply with the basic principle of ore preparation: not to crush or grind anything irrelevant and allows to maximize the workload and yield of finished concentrate in further beneficiation process.
