Compact plate iron separator ERGA PlateMag is installed in a gravity circular or rectangular pipeline and ensures high quality recovery of metal impurities from the bulk flow.

• Integrated solution

Simple and robust design of the iron separator consists of the magnetic system encased in stainless steel protective casing. For easy installation backing and fastening flanges are used in PlateMag design. A spare kit of adapter flanges is available for order. Magnetic plates PlateMag can be supplied either as stand-alone equipment or as part of ERGA plate iron separators PlateMag 1, PlateMag 2, PlateMag V. Parameters of magnetic system are customized, taking into account the characteristics of the customer’s production, which guarantees the highest quality cleaning of material from impurities.

• Reliable retention of fines

Work surfaces of the magnetic plate are equipped with special ribs forming the so-called shadow zones, necessary for reliable retention of metal fines and preventing their flow with the rest of material.

• No power consumption

Magnetic plate separator ERGA PlateMag does not need any electric power for magnetic field generation and differs from electromagnetic analogs in significantly greater reliability and efficiency in operation with not thick material layers. The guaranteed operation life of the magnetic system, subject to operating rules, is 10 years.

• Easy cleaning

The retained impurities are cleaned manually after stopping the product flow.

• Conformity with industrial safety regulations

The equipment corresponds to the requirements of industrial safety regulations and rules valid and can be applied at food, explosive (including vegetable stock storage, processing and utilization facilities) and chemically hazardous enterprises and facilities. All required certificates are included in the scope of supply.
